True Nature Vision Statement:

We are a group of diverse individuals living together with the Earth, establishing a co-creation based on enriching the livelihood of each other through intention and devotion, expressing our vision of a holistic and harmonious community.

PERSONAL BELIEFS:

1) I am committed to creating a healthy environment which nurtures the wellness and growth of myself, the community, and all of humanity.
2) I am committed to remain focused on devotion as an individual and within the group; remaining open to all beliefs, paths, and teachings; recognizing each moment as an opportunity to practice in service and gratitude.
3) I am committed to living in harmony with others in community, practicing ways in which to communicate, resolve conflict, and to honor all in a healthy and practical fashion.
4) I am committed to living in a community based on education, acknowledging that I am both a teacher and a student. I will continue to learn effective ways to educate others and will always remember that I am forever a student of life.
-5) I am committed to participating in Seva, or ‘Service’. I realize that I am not only serving the community in my work, but that I am also always in service to a higher source when performing Seva.
6) I am committed to following all agreements and structures that have been created in the community, acknowledging that within the structures we create is a greater capacity to be free. I will honor all the bylaws, guidelines, and payment plans which are created in the community, remaining honest in all dealings.
7) I am commited to actively participating in decisions, becoming clear in the decision making process, and working to provide solutions when I do not agree with group proposals.
8) I am committed to celebrating diversity and honoring that we are all equals with a different set of experiences. Regardless of age, gender, race, etc. I aspire to recognize the divine in all, including myself, and am dedicated to seeing beyond judgment to the true oneness of life.

COMMUNAL GOALS:

I am committed to supporting the communal goal to:
1) Facilitate a space which inspires and activates individual and group creative expression.
2) Rediscover and practice ancient paths, while researching and implementing modern ways and new traditions which contribute to our connection and coexistence with the web of life.
3) Establish and maintain businesses that will support and sustain the community and individuals financially.
4) Open to the public for a variety of workshops, providing experiential education, and an opportunity for others to experience communal living.
5) Network with other like-minded communities, actively supporting the intentional community movement.
6) Continue our dedication to research in the area of community, increasing our opportunity for success, and our ability to educate others.
7) Document our development as a community, providing us with a multitude of tools to display our process of growth and transformation.
8) Achieve our vision of “sustainability” as a community, doing what we can do sustain ourselves, our community, and the land we live with.
9) Working with CREER (non-profit based at TN) supporting the surrounding village of La Florida and the Costaricans.
10) Create and nurture ritual and ceremonies in the community, with an emphasis on music and dance.
11) Honor ‘Sabado’ (Sabbath) on the land, in silence, and in reverence to all.
